Battery market forecast to 2030: Pricing, capacity, and supply and demand

We used data-driven models to forecast battery pricing, supply, and capacity through 2030. EV battery prices will likely drop in half. And the current 30 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of installed battery storage should rise to 400 GWh by 2030. We explain some of the causes and effects of these changes.
