He previously worked as the product strategist for E Source Customer Energy Solutions, where he led strategic research and engagement efforts to help utility members exceed their energy program, emerging technology, and decarbonization goals.

Kody Salem

Specifically, he leads all business development and partnering efforts for E Source’s technology planning and implementation consulting division. In previous roles, Kody managed the consulting team, matching clients’ needs with best-fit talent. And he provides his own subject-matter expertise for client engagements.

She has nearly 30 years of experience in the utility sector and specializes in operations and project management as well as utility systems deployment and integration. Previously, Nicole was the operations director for Constellation New Energy where she managed the operations and billing staff, realizing over $1 billion in revenue annually.

Tom Martin

As President of Data Science at E Source, Tom is a key partner to E Source clients in demonstrating how data science solutions can help solve their challenges. Prior to this role, Tom served as managing director of Data Science at TROVE, and he led the implementation of new technology and analytics at PG&E to reduce the company’s operational costs, improve safety, and increase grid reliability.

Before joining E Source, Sara was the content and event specialist for Energy Federation Inc. (EFI) where she led the strategy for the blog, social media, and collateral. She also planned logistics for EFI’s presence at all conferences and events. Sara graduated from Framingham State University in Massachusetts with a BA in English and communications.

Ben Nathan leads E Source's research and advisement to utilities on energy affordability and equity. He specializes in identifying and sharing leading strategies and fostering collaborations to assist utility industry clients in their efforts to better serve income-qualified and other vulnerable populations. Before he joined E Source, Ben worked at the US Department of Energy, US Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Renewable Energy Lab, where he assisted federal, state and local government, and tribal partners in clean energy planning and air and water protection.

Will Gifford

As the data science director for E Source Oneinform, Will Gifford helps people turn customer analytics into tools. He joined E Source through the TROVE acquisition in 2020. For over 15 years before that he applied statistical and machine learning models to complex problems in the energy industry, helping utilities use the data that’s available to them. Prior to joining TROVE, Will worked at KEMA, which later became DNV GL, and he started his career at the Energy Information Administration.

Gareth Thompson

With 20 years of experience in software engineering and system integration, Gareth Thompson specializes in developing and delivering integrated solutions for electric, gas and water utilities. He has expertise in systems integration; performance testing; and business intelligence analytics for advanced meter infrastructure (AMI), Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Gareth’s background also includes helping utilities with AMI field-testing to make sure that the piloted AMI technologies meet client requirements and service level agreements.
