Kym Wootton

From 2020 to 2023, Kym Wootton oversaw operations at E Source, which included marketing, project management, IT, facilities, content management, and business intelligence. She focused on helping the organization get the most out of its shared resources to create an agile workplace. Kym was a foundational employee at E Source, serving the company in various roles for almost 15 years.

Jordan Tobey

Jordan Tobey is responsible for member engagement for all eastern US and Canada E Source members and has experience in supporting utility energy-efficiency program initiatives. In her five years with E Source, Jordan has researched trade ally network success and mid- and upstream demand-side management (DSM programs, and benchmarked program and portfolio performance. She has also managed E Source’s data tool products, including DSM Insights and Measure Insights.

Melanie Wemple

Melanie Wemple leads customer journey-mapping workshops for large and small electric and gas utilities, and uses her deep understanding of utility operations to design and implement strategies that enhance customer interactions and improve utility operations. As part of her workshops, she convenes senior leadership to identify and prioritize the gaps between the utility’s current customer experience and what that experience should be.

Jay Stein

Jay is a specialist in HVAC, high-tech industrial process technologies, and the IT industry; he works closely with the E Source Technology Assessment Service.

Katie Ruiz

Katie Ruiz helps customers use E Source content to meet their goals in demand-side management, distributed energy resources, and electrification. She gives nearly 100 utilities across the US and Canada guidance on industry trends and best practices. In the past, Katie managed sales and customer success efforts in the Eastern US and Eastern Canada, working closely with utility leaders and executives. Prior to joining E Source, she worked for an economic development agency where she connected municipalities with energy-efficiency and renewable energy solutions and funding sources.

Aleana Reeves

Aleana Reeves is responsible for leading the strategic planning, prioritization, and oversight of the Customer Experience and Marketing and Communications research portfolio at E Source. She ensures activities align with client objectives. In addition to this role, Aleana serves as the account executive for several key accounts at E Source. Prior to joining E Source, Aleana worked as a consultant at Accenture. She holds an MBA from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business and a BA in economics from Brown University.

John McCracken

John McCracken oversees analysis and reporting for E Source customer data. He studies how our customers use our work and uses those findings to guide our future content. Before joining E Source, John was a marketing director for a nonprofit organization leading Colorado’s healthcare reform efforts. He was also an account director and planner at advertising and marketing agencies in Chicago and Denver.
