Catherine holds a BA in English and modern languages from Bowie State University and is a board-certified Editor in the Life Sciences.

With a focus on innovative and impactful solutions, McKale provides guidance on industry trends and best practices to over 100 utilities.Before joining E Source, he managed transportation electrification programs at the Tennessee Valley Authority, the largest public power utility in the US.

Andrew Rickels is a Data Analyst at E Source, where he primarily focuses on updating and maintaining data tools such as DSMdat and DSM Insights. Andrew is also in the process of earning his master’s degree in sustainable urban planning at George Washington University. He plans to graduate in Spring 2025.Before joining the team at E Source, Andrew spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps in Wisconsin. Claire Mills researches demand-side management (DSM) topics, including demand response and energy efficiency programs for electric and gas utilities. Before joining E Source, Claire worked at the Edison Electric Institute as an analyst for their Institute for Electric Innovation. She worked directly with the US investor-owned utilities on DSM projects, specifically focused on customer solutions.Claire also worked as a research assistant for the Congressional Research Service in the energy policy section. In this role, she authored a report on electric utility disconnections.
