Our UCRC legacy series creates a space for recently retired executives to reflect on their careers and share the lessons they learned along the way. As an industry, we need to pass knowledge on to the next generation of utility leaders. Ted Schultz, former CEO of E Source, will provide insights into his journey and career in the utility and energy space.
Schultz spent nearly four decades in the utility sector, both inside and outside of a utility and making conributions at all levels. He worked at Avangrid and Duke Energy before moving on to companies that focus on solution services such as Ecova and Trove. He joined E Source when the company acquired Trove, where he was CEO. Schultz worked to expand E Source’s data science capabilities before succeeding Wayne Greenberg as CEO of E Source.
