To meaningfully address energy equity, utilities and cities must have clear definitions, goals, and metrics for equity based on their unique service territories and the communities they serve. Join us to learn about and discuss how utilities define equity and what goals and metrics they’re using to expand it. We’ll explore the various energy equity frameworks and definitions being used across the country and how you can leverage them in your jurisdiction.

This is an E Source exchange. It’s an online conversation where you can share ideas on specific topics with other utility professionals. In this exchange, we’ll bring together utility peers to discuss how utilities are defining and guiding their equity initiatives. We encourage you to ask questions and share your experience during the event.

This exchange will cover how utilities are:

  • Defining energy equity in their service territories
  • Setting goals to achieve more-equitable outcomes
  • Selecting metrics for equity and measuring progress
