The state of transportation electrification planning
December 15, 2022 | 9:00 am - 10:00 am EST
NOTE: This event has already taken place. See below for event description.
Transportation electrification (TE) efforts at utilities aren’t always compiled into a single, strategic plan. TE funding comes from many sources, and multiple levels of policy (or lack thereof) can govern TE.
And there are more challenges. The many utility departments involved in TE planning (such as program design, customer service, and distribution planning), aren’t always aligned or in sync. Some utilities have filed comprehensive TE plans, while others deliver EV offerings one program or pilot at a time. We’re meeting to ask what’s working, what isn’t, and what research can help you build a TE plan.
This is an E Source exchange. It’s an online conversation where you can share ideas on specific topics with other utility professionals. In this exchange, we’ll bring together utility peers to discuss the state of TE planning in their jurisdictions.
This exchange will cover:
- Strategies for overcoming barriers in TE planning
- How utilities are approaching TE efforts
- Data insights from the new E Source TE Insights tool
- How to work cross-functionally to advance TE
