Nicole Pennington is a senior manager for E Source’s technology planning and implementation consulting division, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has more than a decade of direct experience working with utilities and municipalities. Nicole specializes in project management, public relations and communications, procurement, and assessments. She focuses on disruptive technology programs, including advanced metering, smart energy, smart water, and smart cities. Additionally, Nicole serves as the division’s marketing director. She holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and media studies and environmental science from Rutgers University. Nicole is a certified Social Media Specialist, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
