This person is responsible for sales of E Source’s Research and Consulting Solutions to electric and gas utility organizations. While this position may be located anywhere in the US, the preferred base would be in Boulder, Colorado or in the region assigned.  You will work collaboratively with the product and customer success teams to ensure member satisfaction and provide input to develop additional strategic offerings for this market.   This sales position requires knowledge of solutions-based consultative selling, the utility market, and E Source products and service offerings, as well as a deep understanding of working with high-level decision makers within the specific target markets.   Responsibilities/Duties: Proactively call existing and prospective customers to identify potential business opportunities; this position requires a high degree of relationship development via telephone, email, web conference, and in person activity Assume “ownership & accountability” for defined markets and product offerings; this includes participation in the sales cycle from prospecting to developing the sale, closing the sale, and completing necessary administrative tasks Accurately report and forecast sales and related activities using company’s CRM system, Salesforce.com Professionally represent E Source at conferences as necessary to build the E Source brand, engage customers, and gain intelligence on prospects Develop strategies to broaden the utility market, while also identifying and expanding into related new markets Inform customers and prospects of forthcoming product changes and new products (supported by E Source’s marketing department) Respond to billing/invoicing/fulfillment queries for defined accounts Close coordination with Marketing team, including lead generation from multiple sources with timely follow-up Close coordination with the region’s corresponding Customer Success Director. Close coordination with and assignments from the Chief Customer Officer   Requirements: Available for travel up to 30% of time. Customer Success Director

As a trusted advisor, foster trust with upper level management and executives to work across multiple levels of organizational structures. Manage the onboarding of new customers by identifying internal stakeholders, building a customized training and launch plan, and implementing the rollout and ongoing support of services throughout the delivery cycle. Identify cross-selling opportunities, and help develop strategic account plans that align customer needs and regulatory environments with corporate initiatives to optimize account growth. Ensure renewals by developing an ongoing engagement and support strategy that includes: quarterly progress reports, remote and in person presentations, trainings, and coordination across teams at E Source, aligning efforts from research, sales, and consulting teams. Attend and speak at conferences as necessary to build the E Source brand, engage customers, and gain intelligence on prospects. Requirements 5+ years of relevant Account Management experience. Energy Efficiency or Utility experience a plus. Ability to problem solve, foster cooperation across teams, and be results driven. Software Developer

E Source provides research, information, advisory, and consulting services to utilities and other key players in the energy marketplace. We are seeking a data-focused developer to be based out of our Boulder, CO, office. In this position, you’ll identify, catalog, and transform data sources (both internal and external) to improve the company’s data offerings; you’ll work independently and as part of a small software team, often in close coordination with internal stakeholders. Though this is primarily a data-focused position, we’d prefer someone who can also develop applications, work within a CMS, debug, and help write automated tests. Ideally, you’ll have experience developing in R, either in workplace or scholastic projects, and experience with relational databases, including tuning, monitoring, and writing queries. A working knowledge of various data formats (RDBMS, Excel, SPSS, JSON, XML, etc.) is a plus. Our new teammate will be given the opportunity to learn many different platforms including Drupal Content Management System, R Studio/Shiny Server, Selenium, Piwik, DevOps (Chef, AWS), and potentially Big Data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark.
