Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of our members’ operations, programs, and customer relationships. We’re looking a Data Intern to join our demand-side management (DSM) research team. We support more than 100 electric and gas utilities across the US and Canada, as well as numerous DSM solution providers that implement and evaluate utility programs. Our members depend on us for unbiased, independent analysis of DSM trends, policies, programs, and technologies. To support these efforts, we manage several databases of energy program information.   Position Description The DSM Data Intern is responsible for continuous database development related to energy-efficiency program design and evaluation. This includes researching efficiency program websites; populating databases with accurate, up-to-date information; and ongoing data maintenance and review. The intern will become familiar with the programs and evaluations contained in the databases to support the creation of data-driven research deliverables in coordination with senior research staff. Research topics may include DSM program structures, measurement and evaluation, portfolio composition and optimization, utility operations, and DSM regulatory policy.    Responsibilities   Populating databases with accurate, clear, and current data gleaned from targeted searches Providing research, analysis, and writing assistance for quick-turnaround information requests from clients and for articles, reports, and web conferences Helping product managers devise and execute strategies for long-term database development Qualifications Graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in a related field Robust research, critical-thinking, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to quickly synthesize information from large text and data sources Interest in energy efficiency and utility industry is a plus Keen attention to detail Ability to document procedures and provide feedback to improve processes   Employment Details 10-20 hours per week through the spring semester (January through May 2018) with the potential to continue internship into the summer. Demand-Side Management Senior Analyst

E Source filters information on developments in the energy services marketplace to provide its members with concise strategic insights and in-depth analyses. The Demand-Side Management (DSM) Senior Analyst is expected to provide engaging, high-quality research content on utility DSM programs to E Source members, which consist of more than 100 electric and gas utilities across North America. These member organizations depend on E Source for unbiased, independent analysis of DSM policies, programs, and technologies.   The DSM Senior Analyst will gather research from primary and secondary sources and critically analyze the information to create useful products and services for E Source clients. The topics this position will research include, but are not limited to, DSM regulatory policy, program best practices and lessons learned, cutting-edge  program models and technologies, and program performance benchmarks. DSM Associate Data Analyst

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall coordination, functional management, and leadership of all sales activities. The E Source Market Research Services team focus on gathering and analyzing data related to utility customer experience (CX), marketing and communications, demand-side management, distributed energy resources, energy innovation, and account management. We’re looking for an energetic, passionate, client-focused team player to join our high-energy group in Boulder, Colorado, as a full-time Senior Consultant. This is a mid-level position requires five years or more preferred of relevant CX and customer insights experience. You should have a proven ability to exceed client expectations, outstanding communication and presentation skills, a keen awareness of deadlines, and the ability to compel action from project stakeholders. You’ll serve as a key client contact and project manager. Responsibilities: Provide project leadership and project management for CX and market research engagements. Facilitate client-facing interactions, meetings, and workshops and provide solutions directly to clients.
