New Doors Are Opening for Widespread Economizer Cooling in Data Centers

A recent analysis of data center operation by a leading engineer is challenging the widely accepted belief that data centers need tight temperature and humidity control. The study concludes that loosening these controls could translate into as much as a 63 percent savings in cooling energy.
