In the six months that Justin Rickard has been with E Source, he’s made a huge splash in the research department. His 10 years in the customer care industry provide a fresh perspective to the team, and he uses his experience to make thoughtful recommendations to our utility customers. Some days, he can be found playing chess at his desk with a coworker, a framed picture of Kurt Vonnegut behind him on the wall. Justin is yet another brilliant and quirky member of the E Source family.
Nickname: Bean
Hometown: That’s a hard one. Until I was 7 years old, I lived in Merrillville, Indiana; from age 7 to 13, I lived in Palatine, Illinois; from age 13 to 18, it was Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and between the ages of 18 and 23, my parents moved to Walnut Creek, California, Dublin, California, and Lake Forest, Illinois (oh, and I lived in Bloomington, Indiana, while attending Indiana University). At age 23, I moved to Denver, Colorado, and never looked back.
What you do at E Source: I’m a research manager focused on issues related to utility customer care operations.
Why you like working at E Source: My coworkers are intelligent and nice.
Something most people don’t know about you: I’m allergic to penicillin.
