I’m excited to be planning the DSM Experts Panel for this year’s E Source Forum. After a short hiatus, it’s back by popular demand! We have held this session in past years and it has been one of the most well-attended and most engaging sessions at the Forum.

This year, we will have a panel of five to six DSM experts who have been heavily involved in utility demand-side management over the years and who now oversee DSM at their utilities. Audience members will have a chance to ask the panel DSM-related questions. One of my favorite things about this session is that there are no pre-planned presentations—it is strictly driven by audience questions. This is your chance to get a unique expert opinion on the DSM question that’s been on your mind.

Another benefit is that by merely attending the session and hearing questions posed by the audience, you will obtain fantastic insight into issues that utilities throughout North America are facing and gain some new perspectives on the industry. I’m purposefully holding back on naming the panel members we’ve recruited so far to pique your curiosity, so be sure to keep an eye on the Forum website. I hope to see you in September!
