New Lighting Standards: Say "Goodbye" to T12s

New national minimum energy-efficiency requirements for general purpose fluorescent lamps and incandescent reflector lamps promise big energy savings and will affect utility incentive programs. The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that the standards will help cut energy use by up to 1.2 trillion kilowatt-hours over the next 30 years.
