In this annual report we use the Platts Research & Consulting Power Outlook market modeling data and methodology to generate a 10-year forecast of renewable energy capacity, production, and prices on a state-by-state basis. We also explore the market impact of different regulatory regimes; examine the effect of renewables-targeted tax incentives, portfolio standards, and systems benefits charges; and investigate the integration of intermittent resources into the U.S. supply base.
