Morning
A chance for first-time attendees to connect with peers and learn how to get the most out of their Forum experience.
Afternoon
Must register in advance Denver Art Museum. The museum's collections include paintings and sculptures by a wide variety of local, regional, national, and international artists, including Monet, Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, O'Keeffe, Warhol, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Russell, Rodin, di Suvero, and Remington. Bike Ride. Rent a bike and enjoy some of Denver’s scenic bike paths, easily accessible from downtown. REI Flagship store. Located in the restored 1901 Denver Tramway building, REI’s Denver Flagship is a complete outdoor resource, a historic landmark, and an award-winning architectural accomplishment. Don't miss the interactive features, which include mountain bike trails and a 45-foot climbing wall.
Evening
We’ll kick off this gala evening with a reception. For dinner, attendees will be able to browse various food stations offering distinctively different dishes. There will also be cooking demonstrations and plenty of time for visiting with peers and E Source staff.

Must register in advance EPA Region 8 Green Building Tour. Take a tour of the EPA Region 8 office building, which has been awarded Gold Certification for new construction from the LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. It is one of only a few buildings in Colorado to achieve such a high performance and sustainability rating. Denver Botanic Gardens. One of the top-ranked botanical gardens in the U.S., the Denver Botanic Gardens has something for everyone, from leisurely strolls through themed gardens to wildflower hikes, dozens of classes, and a variety of exhibits and events. Denver Microbrew Tour. A two-hour guided walking tour in downtown Denver's historic LoDo (lower downtown) area. Learn more about the history of beer, how it’s made, what the different types are and how they differ, why Denver has been called the "Napa Valley of Beer. We’ll visit 4 microbreweries, taste beer at each, and see two brewery tours given by brewers at Great Divide and Wynkoop. Tattered Cover. Experience the cozy atmosphere of this independent community bookstore, located in a Historic LoDo warehouse building. Plenty of nooks and crannies to people watch, enjoy some coffee, or curl up with a good book!
Evening
We’ll help you take a culinary tour around Denver’s LoDo district. Choose from one of these great restaurants: Osteria Marco. Italian cooking in a setting of rustic elegance. Cru Wine Bar. Wine flight-tasting with small plate pairing. Chop House. Boasting a diverse menu that features steaks, chops, and seafood, this restaurant is located in the Historic Union Pacific Building. Jax Fish House. Buzzing atmosphere, eclectic local art, knowledgeable-friendly staff and the Best Seafood in Denver make Jax worthy of its rave reviews. Bistro Vendome. Classic French bistro fare, updated using local, seasonal ingredients.
Come join your peers and E Source staff at Denver’s first brewpub for pool and darts. Housed in the historic J.S. Brown Mercantile building, the Wynkoop is credited with starting the revival of the LoDo section of Denver. |
