The E Source Forum gives participants a great opportunity to network with peers and exchange the latest cutting-edge information in a friendly, collegial atmosphere. We’ll be offering a variety of networking options throughout the Forum. You’ll need to register for some of the following activities in advance.

Walking Tour of LoDo. Explore Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo) and learn the history of the structures and something about their former occupants, including early movers and shakers in the city as well as infamous con men, desperadoes, and ghosts.

Denver Art Museum. Recently remodeled and displaying significantly more great art in amazing spaces, the new Denver Art Museum will change the way you see art and architecture.

Xcel's Utility Innovations Visitor Center. Located in the lobby of Xcel Energy’s Technical Services Building in downtown Denver, the Visitor Center features interactive displays designed to represent various parts of the power grid, from generation and distribution to transmission and consumption.

 

Evening

6:30 p.m. Exhibitor-Hosted Reception & Dinner

We’ll kick off this gala evening with a reception. For dinner, attendees will be able to browse a variety of food stations offering distinctively different dishes. There will also be entertainment, music, and plenty of time for visiting with peers and E Source staff.

Cherry Creek Mall. This lavishly appointed shopping center in the heart of Denver offers access to 169 shops, restaurants, and services, including such renowned stores as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy's, Tiffany & Co., Elway's Restaurant, and Burberry.

Denver Botanic Gardens. One of the top-ranked botanical gardens in the U.S., the Denver Botanic Gardens has something for everyone, from leisurely strolls through themed gardens to wildflower hikes, dozens of classes, and a variety of exhibits and events.

Bike Ride. Rent a bike and enjoy some of Denver’s scenic bike paths, easily accessible from downtown.

EPA Region 8 Green Building Tour. Take a tour of the EPA Region 8 office building, which has been awarded Gold Certification for new construction from the LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. It is one of only a few buildings in Colorado to achieve such a high performance and sustainability rating.

 

Evening

Join us for dinner at the Samba Room, which offers a menu that marries award-winning Latin cuisine—including grilled meats and fresh seafood—artfully blended with exotic fruits and rare spices.

After dinner have fun at a weekly Salsa Social where you can learn new moves and take advantage of open dancing to practice what you learn. The instructional class begins at 7:00 p.m.; open dancing takes place from 8:15-10:00 p.m. A modest fee will be collected on the spot from all participating dancers.

We’ll help you take a culinary tour around Denver’s LoDo district. Choose from one of these great restaurants:

1515. Contemporary American cuisine, including buffalo steak, beef tenderloin, lamb rack, and the freshest seafood on the market.

Cook Street School of Fine Cooking. Enjoy a private cooking lesson from a professional chef and then feast on the gourmet meal the class has just created.

Osteria Marco. Italian cooking, including classic hand-tossed pizza, and house-crafted meats and cheeses. Offers an extensive yet accessible wine selection in a setting of rustic elegance.

Rioja. Features a menu inspired by Mediterranean ingredients and influenced by local and seasonal products.

Rodizio Grill. Skewered meats carved tableside by Brazilian gauchos are the centerpiece of this authentic dining experience.

Vesta Dipping Grill. Royal grill cuisine, ethnic entrees, and exotic dipping sauces are served in a funky, friendly, and totally unique environment.

Venice Ristorante. Offering traditional Italian charm, this restaurant showcases the artistry of one of Denver’s most respected chefs. His talents are evident in the appetizing, enjoyable plates of pasta dishes served at this elegant restaurant.

Wynkoop Brewing Company. Denver’s oldest brewing company, the Wynkoop serves a variety of pub fare, including shepherd's pie, beer-braised pot roast, and a Portobello mushroom sandwich.
