E Source is pleased to announce that Mike Weedall has been hired as a senior advisor. He’ll provide demand-side management expertise and support to E Source customers and research staff.

At Bonneville Power Administration, he led and developed the energy-efficiency and demand-response programs for over 130 public utilities in the Northwest,” says Kenneth Black, chief customer officer and executive vice president of Customer Engagement at E Source. “Mike’s experience and understanding of the market will be of great value to our members and E Source staff. He has firsthand knowledge of what it takes to make these types of utility programs successful.”

Weedall has more than 30 years of energy-related program experience in the areas of energy efficiency, conservation, demand response, small-scale renewables, and distributed generation programs. He is a member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Electricity Oversight Committee. Most recently, he was vice president of energy efficiency at Bonneville Power Administration, where he was responsible for leading all demand-side management activities for the Northwest’s power marketing authority.
